This is a set of photos showing the achievement of my first big goal for
this Mustang... To drive it to the VMF Corn Feed!

July 21-24, 2005

One of my long time goals for this car has been to get it road worthy enough
to travel to an annual get together called the "Corn Feed".

This is a meeting of people from around the country who have met each other
on the Vintage Mustang Forum.

We all congregate in the middle of the country (this year it was in Omaha)
and show off our cars, talk cars, visit museums, race tracks, etc...

It is a chance for us all to put names with faces, and generally have a great
time. I had been to two of them previously, but had never been able to bring
my car with me.

This year was different! The convertible made the 1050 mile round trip with
no problems whatsoever - even in 100+ degree weather.

Now that my first big goal is complete, I will probably take some time to
try to fix some of the nagging little issues I still have with the car, and
just sit back and enjoy the rest of the car show season this summer!
