July 5, 2005 A new problem has developed where the oil light comes on when I turn corners. I checked the dipstick, and the level seems to be fine, so the only thing we can figure is that the oil pickup or oil pump has something wrong with it. As you can see in the first picture, after we dropped the oil pan it was very obvious that the oil pickup screen was bent or twisted. You can see what it should look like in the second photo. Since we replaced it, the light has not come back on once. And finally, I decided to give up on the hubcap wheels. We were not able to get them balanced, and it is not easy to find plain 14" wheels anymore. The new "Style Steel Wheels" look pretty good I think!
