Jason's Mustang Restoration Project - Do Overs

This is a set of photos showing some of the projects I've had to re-do lately,
and a few other odds and ends...

April 19-30, 2005

These photos show a few different things. Seems like the list of things
to do gets larger, not smaller, now that I am getting closer to having
the car *gasp* "done".

I installed the A pillar weatherstripping. These photos show the bottom
metal tab still in place, but I later realized that it should not be there on
a 64.5 car, so I pulled it loose from the rubber on both pillars.

I re-installed the door trim panels temporarily, as they will need to come
back off to adjust the windows.

I finally put the door tag back on.

I took out and re-installed the convertible top motor and lift cylinders.
I did manage to find a used pump that works well, but I finally had to
break down and buy new lift cylinders after my 6th used one leaked again.

Take my advice if you are reading this. Just buy the new ones to begin with
and save yourself the trouble of doing it twice (or more) .

Finally, the 3M adhesive I used on the rear arm rests didnt work real well,
so I re-glued the upholstery, and re-installed them once the pump was fixed.

The back seat is now in place again too.

Also, there is a photo of the old laptop that I hooked up on my workbench.
Now I can look stuff up without having to go into the house!

The last few photos show the car as it was on April 30, 2005 at one
our Chicago Vintage Mustang Club Meetings.
