This is a set of photos showing the car as it was reassembled at the body

I went over to SLS again, and they were beginning the final items that need
to be done on this trip.

They have templates taped to the car for drilling the emblem holes, and they
have reassembled the front end of the car a little bit more.

The trunk lid is now on the car, along with its weatherstripping.

I called Larry this morning, and he told me it is done!

I arrived after work to pick it up, and snapped a few photos. It is still
in need of a bath, and once I get it home, I will still need to reinstall
many parts... But it is starting to look driveable again!

The weather stripping is now installed around the doors, and the firewall
near the hood.

These photos show the undercoating around the wheels, the newly installed
emblems, and the FORD letters on the hood.

I spent the day on Labor Day putting some of the remaining chrome items
back on the car, and cleaning it off a bit more. I also put the passenger
seat back in, and vacuumed out the interior.

I left the door handles off because I am ordering some new ones.

I have temporarily put the wire wheel covers on for now - mostly to see
how they look, and also because I put the other ones in storage during the
move!

Today, at lunch time, I drove the car over to a nearby park to snap a few
photos in the sunlight.

Finally - some good photos to show off!
