I got a call from Larry over at SLS and found out that they have started
the process of fixing the remaining flaws in the body.

The front sheet metal has been taken off, and the process of removing the
remaining surface rust, and filling in the dings is already well under way.

They have also painted a sample for me with the Guardsman Blue paint.

I think it is going to look great!

Finally... it has begun.

I stopped by again today. Larry gave me a few photos he snapped showing
the bad pitting in the trunk, which he says is kind of rare to see that
bad...

By the time I got there today though, the rusty hole on the right side of
the trunk floor had been patched, and they had applied some filler to the
other spots to try to smooth it out before the painting...

Also, I took some good shots of the fenders showing how the front edges
have been worked to fit the headlight bezels better...

Stopped by again to photograph the progress. Springs are in place on the
door hinges, and the car has been primed again, and sanded again. It is
finally ready for some color!
