Amateur Radio de W9AEK
One of the hobbies I enjoy the most is amateur radio (AKA "Ham Radio").
There are many facets to amateur radio and here are the things I enjoy
the most about the hobby:
- Modifying Motorola commercial radio gear for use on the Ham bands
- Fast Scan TV
- Radio Teletype - Modifications and repair of model 28 KSR's
I am the Illinois Ham TCP/IP address coordinator. If you are an Illinois
ham and need a TCP/IP address, just send me e-mail,
ken at svs dot com
and I will return your IP address as soon as I can. If you are in the Chicago
area and need a TCP/IP address, I will need the frequency and the router(s)
that you will use. If you are outside Chicago area, I will need your ZIP code
and frequency.
I have been licensed as WA9AEK from 03/1961 to 08/2013 when I applied for the
vanity call sign of W9AEK.
